Product Description
The CCM-24 Cap Compression Molding Machine is a high-speed, continuous compression molding system designed for the efficient production of plastic caps from HDPE and PP materials. Unlike traditional injection molding, which requires heating the material to high temperatures and injecting it into closed molds, compression molding operates at a lower plasticization temperature of approximately 180°C. This results in shorter cycle times, lower energy consumption, and reduced cooling requirements.
The machine extrudes granulated compound material, cuts it into precise single pellets, and inserts each pellet into individual cavities on a continuously rotating turret. Each of the 24 cavities receives a gob of resin and is raised to clamp with the forming upper punch, producing finished caps that are ejected onto a conveyor belt for real‑time inspection. The rotary design ensures continuous production with no injection downtime, significantly increasing yield.
This CCM‑24 system is ideal for medium‑to‑large scale cap production, offering high output, stable quality, and low operating costs.
